Joshua Tree and Desert Hot Springs

First stop in California was a visit to Joshua Tree with my friend Danielle. The Desert Hot Springs apartment we stayed at had a meticulously curated 60's art-deco interior design aesthetic, and was owned and operated by a local artist/designer from LA who was also a really nice guy. He sourced all of the period-accurate furniture from garage sales around town, which he hits up on a weekly basis.

I wish we had more time to spend exploring Joshua Tree, it was truly special, especially just after sunset when sky turned a vivd purple. Even under a near full moon, the stars were incredible. I look forward to coming back for a moonless sky and getting some milky way shots.
